Basically it is teaching the kids basketball by playing a full court game every week &amp; introduce the rules in a safe friendly environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session goes for approximately 50 minutes with the first 15 minutes for a warm up &amp; basic skills.  Then there will be 2 x 15 minute halves which will include the kids being broken up into sides with a coach each &amp; a ref to umpire &amp; help teach the kids the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This term we have two classes to choose from at Lara Primary.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sunday Morning 10am with Kat &amp; Hayley<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have the wonderful Kat as our lead coach who has many years experience from coaching local teams to representative teams of high skill levels.  Kat will be helped by wonderful assistant coach Hayley who is also an experienced player, coach &amp; ref.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tuesday 5pm with Mark &amp; Rick<\/span> **SOLD OUT **<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life member Mark has been playing for the Lara Giants since the club started.  He has also been coaching for a long time too.  He joins team mate Rick to help teach the game they love to the new generation of Giants<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cost is $80 for the 8 weeks plus $5 insurance &amp; registration with Basketball Victoria.
