Summer Teams 2027

🏀 SUMMER TEAMS ARE HERE! 🏀

We’re super excited to announce our Lara Giants teams for the upcoming Summer 2026/27 Season, proudly supported by Ray White Lara! 💙

With around 90 teams again, putting our teams together has been a massive task for our coaches and Playing Committee. A huge thank you to everyone involved for the time, effort and thought that goes into making it happen.

We understand that team selection can be an exciting — and sometimes stressful — time for players and families. While many players will be thrilled with their team, we also know there will be some who may feel disappointed with where they have been placed.

When selecting teams, we consider a range of factors, including team balance, playing positions, coachability, attitude, development and the overall needs of each team. There is a lot that goes into every decision, and it isn’t always simply about ability or previous team placement.

If you or your child are disappointed with their placement, we ask that you take some time, sleep on it and let the initial emotions settle. If you still have concerns after that, please send them through to us via email. To help us respond properly, please include the player’s full name and age group in your email so we can make sure your enquiry gets to the right coordinator. Email: Boys: [email protected] Email: Girls: [email protected]

Please also keep in mind that we in the school holidays, so our coordinators may not be as responsive as they normally are. We appreciate your patience while our amazing volunteers take some well-earned time with their families.

Most importantly, we’re looking forward to another fantastic Summer Season and can’t wait to see our Giants back on court! 💙🏀
