The RMA Civil Construction Shooting Stars is designed to help families transition from Little Giants into a hybrid skill development program which is a combination of training & skills as well as weekly actual games with referee. Basically it is teaching the kids basketball by playing a full court game every week & introduce the rules in a safe friendly environment.

The session goes for approximately 50 minutes with the first 15 minutes for a warm up & basic skills. Then there will be 2 x 15 minute halves which will include the kids being broken up into sides with a coach each & a ref to umpire & help teach the kids the game.

This term we have two classes to choose from at Lara Primary.

Sunday Morning 10:30am with Hayley & Co

We have the wonderful Hayley as our lead coach who has many years experience coaching as well as reffing. Not only will she help the kids with their skills, as an experienced ref she will help them learn & understand the rules & help get them ready toplay.

Cost is $80 for the 8 weeks plus $5 insurance & registration with Basketball Victoria. Kids will also need a size 5 ball as well as a Shooting Stars reversible top to allow them to play games
