Little Giants is a fun introduction to basketball where kids learn the basics of basketball of basketball in a fun friendly environment without the pressures of actual games.  Our coaches are all experience players playing for Lara as well as representative basketball for Geelong.  Class sizes are limited to the classes to just 16 to allow maximum coach to player time.

Cost: $90 for new players (inc ball & shirt), $70 for returning
Location: Lara Lake Primary School

1. Monday 4:15pm to 5pm with Jess & Paige  – Ages 5 to 6

This group is designed for the younger less experienced little giants aged 5 to 6.  The program is more designed around fun & is a basic introduction to basketball.  Our coaches are experienced players with supercats rep experience who are great with the little kids & helping them get confident.

  2. Monday 6pm to 7 with Kelsey Jordan Ages 7+

Our later class on Mondays are for the kids who are 7+ are a little more confident.  This program is designed to not only introduce the kids to the basketball basics, but to get them ready to play actual games.  Kids aiming to play next summer (term 4) should consider joining this wondefrul program with Kelsey.  Kelsey is a div 1 womens player & has a lot of experience & an excellent teacher of the game.  

3. Saturday 9am to 9:45 with Joel McFall – All ages

Our Saturday classes are open for all ages & abilities, ideally aimed at those aged 6 to 9 with limited basketball experience.  Joel is a hit at our clinics with the kids & plays in our div 1 mens team as well as our u14-1 coach.  

Classes start Saturday October 12 & Monday October 14.

Please note: No sessions on Melb cup weekend due to Geelong United Basketball Junior Tournament & potential long weekend for some.
