Lara Basketball Club – increase in membership fees

Due to increasing costs of running the club the LBC committee has had to make the decision to increase the membership fees.  It costs over $30,000 a year to keep the club running with our major costs being halls for training, BG team entry fees and the Junior presentation day.  The committee works hard to raise income through sponsorship and fundraising activities to keep our membership fees down but this increase is necessary.  This is only the second increase since 1996 and even after the increase our fees are the same or less than most other clubs in the BG competition.

The new fees are:

Junior Single membership      $90 per year

Junior Family membership    $150 per year    2 or more players from the same family and household

Membership fees are compulsory if you wish to play with the Lara Basketball Club and should be paid prior to the commencement of the Winter season.
