Summer is almost over & we have a massive end for our summer season planned.  Below are the dates to save & the details on how to participate

Bunnings BBQ – Sunday Feb 24

Our Bunnings BBQ is our biggest fund raiser of the year.  The money raised is as much as some of our sponsors & helps keep our club fees to be one of the lowest in Geelong.  So if you wish you could do more to help the club but don’t know anything about basketball, or if you simple want to support the club & put back in, we would love for you to give us 1 hour of your day.  Plus you get to spend time with others from the club away from the basketball stadiums.

Laser Skirmish – Sunday March 24

Our friends at Next Level Skirmish (Duro St North Geelong) are helping us put on a fun day for our kids & coaches (if they are game).  This is simply a great excuse to get the kids bonding & having some fun with their team mates & the rest of the club. So coaches round up the kids, get your team together & take out the other Lara teams.  We have two 2hr sessions starting at either 10am or 1pm with a bbq lunch provided between the 2 sessions starting from 12pm. Tickets are $30 per person, ideal for teams in u12s & above.

Junior Presentation Day – Sunday April 7

For the first time ever we are having a summer presentation day. With so many of our junior players only playing summer we felt it was only fair we put on a special presentation day for all the kids & their hard work over a hot summer.  There will be trophies for u12s & above, with under 10s & Little Giants will each get a medal.
